Nasi Vanggey Restaurant

Started as a small nasi kandar stall in Jalan Yang Kalsom, Ipoh since 1955, Restoran Nasi Vanggey has become one of the food phenomenon in Perak. Because of the tremendous response by the locals, Restoran Nasi Vanggey is now having their own outlet in Greentown, Ipoh. However, the small stall is still serving customers as it has its own nostalgic value for some regulars.
What makes Nasi Vanggey’s dish different from any other nasi kandar is its signature gravy. The gravy tastes almost like a spicy indian curry, usually served with white rice, juicy fried chicken and soft boiled egg, among other side dishes.
