The discovery of the remains of one of the oldest humans, the Perak Man, in 2001 shows that civilisation began in Peninsular Malaysia more than 11,000 years ago.

The discovery has placed Lenggong Valley on the global map, especially among history enthusiasts.
On 30 June 2012, Lenggong Valley was inscribed into the list of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites.

Located in Kota Tampan, this archaeological Museum is a treasure trove of history, with its most famous display being the Perak Man, which dates back to the Stone Age, right around the Paleolithic Era!
