The Visit Perak Year 2024 (VPY2024) campaign, themed “Promising Perak,” is designed to boost and revitalize the tourism sector of the state of Perak post-COVID-19. Indirectly, the staging of VPY2024 serves as a precursor to Visit Malaysia Year 2025 (2025).

VPY2024 campaign sets the course for Perak tourism, grounded on the principles of Sustainability, Competitiveness, and Inclusiveness for sustainable development. This will position Perak as a leading and competitive destination in Ecotourism, Culture, Heritage, and Gastronomy.

The TMP2024 campaign symbolizes the determination of the Perak State Government to achieve the goal of attracting 8.0 million domestic tourists and 350,000 international tourists, with a target revenue of MYR10 billion through tourism receipts.

To achieve these goals, efforts to promote and strengthen Perak’s tourism products must be intensified through collaborative efforts with various agencies to ensure Perak remains relevant and competitive among other states.
