Peninsular Malaysia’s 2nd Highest Peak
Mount Korbu, the source of the Kinta River, is the highest peak (at 2183m) on Banjaran Titiwangsa, the mountain range which originates from the long Tenasserim Hills in the north and extends all the way south near Muar, Johor.
For decades, Korbu has been one of the two favourites for local and foreign climbers. There has even been a conservation project in 2013 to ‘adopt the mountain’ in efforts to conserve its climbing trail.
